At least a couple weeks, as you should let it consolidate for at least a week after it's 100%.

You should wait until it is fully colonized and then give it a week for the consolidation of the myc network. At this week, the myc digest the sub and store the nutrients, so that the first flush will be prolific. If you provide too much FAE, while the myc colonize, it will stop growing and start pinning. So dont open it to often (let it closed) until it is fully colonized. Just give it some GE.

Don't worry about that at this point. The small cracks in the lid will suffice for now. After that I hope you have holes in your FC to stuff polyfill in and then you're good. Well an oscillating fan in the room will work wonders.

lol you could ignore that guy, or you could listen to him, both answers will give you results.
if you think about the sub like a cake. you leave a cake in the jar till its fully colonized, then you give it some time to consolidate. now its time to birth.
or you could just go ahead and fruit it in the other way too.
etherway i think you'll have results

It's not a good comparison. Brown rice flour is a very dense nutrient. If you birth the cake before the myc has taken over all the brf, you get stroma and stalling problems.
A bulk substrates grain is already colonized at the time of spawning. In my experience they start pinning shortly after they are fully colonized.
I think the simplest thing is to just fruit it when you see the first knots developing.

Thats right so far, but you can prolong it, if the amount of GE is not to high. To much GE leads into evaporation and this will cause knotting. Myc dont need much GE while colonization.

If you got a tub with polyfill in holes & trashbagged sub (between sub & tub) aswell as covered in 2xtrashbags + a blanket on it; will it fruit?
I needs o2 & light to fruit right?

Dont cover the hole bin with a trash-bag, because you want some Gas Exchange. The myc need O² to live. Evaporation is the No.1 pinning trigger. If the GE is to high the moisture of the sub will evaporate and cause pinning.

I'm sure it's got plenty of o2. The tub is like 3 inches of substrate and 8 inches of empty space. I'm sure most monotubs 10qt+ have enough o2 in them to sustain themselves for quite a bit.

It is hard to tell anything from that Pic. but it is not fully colonized yet. And there is no cobweb.
