Using Sheep Manure as a Casing?

Hey, I was thinking of this question last night before bed. I have unlimited Sheep Manure available from recent to 4 years old and more. i have been reading alot about growing boomers but never read about this idea so i thought i would ask.
i know that being sterile is huge when ur innoculating jars, but when the jars are fully inocculated i read they can fight off mostly anything. if i put 1/2 inch of pasturized manure on the bottom then placed the 1/2 pint cakes and crumbled the rest to make a full tray. then put another 1/2 inch of manure on top or so untill its completely coving the cakes. would there be a problem with contaminants?
as for the manure goes i was thinking i could pasturize it in a pillow case to kill all the contaminants but leave the neutrients for the boomers to grow on... the 4 year old manure is basically a very rich soil now so it would be able to crumb up nicely over the cakes.
is this a bad idea? i thought i would ask before i destroy a bunch of cakes.
thanks for the answers

a casing should be void of nutrients. Then again psilo's don't need a casing so why not use it as bulk next time?

What virus is trying to say is instead of using your sheep manure as a "casing" you should use it as a bulk substrate. Try searching casing Vs substrate for more info.
