Everybody, meet Mushdog!

Alright, gang! I've been haunting this internet non-place for over a year, gleaming some yummy nuggets of information every time I visit, but this is my first time posting. So, for starters, I'm Mushdog! I'd be happy to make your acquaintance, were you to try such a thing. Secondly, I'm assuming I'll eventually be told to read the obligatory materials, like FAQ's, forum rules, etc. Way ahead of you. Now, then. I've got some pictures I'd like to share with you all, and maybe get some feedback, if you folks aren't too busy.
Here we have a little piece of precious. It appears completely healthy, apart from being a little manhandled and bruised. I believe it to be a fine specimen, but I'm always willing to listen to reasons why it shouldn't be. It was picked just as the veil began tearing, so that I might preserve its posterity.
This'un is a little further along the drying process. By morning, I imagine I could pick my teeth with the stem. Notice how it's the same color as the fresher one above.
This bad boy, I must admit, is causing me a tiny bit of concern. As you can see, its color is a little more sickly looking. It appears slimy. Note, it's not slimy, but simply wet. Although it appears as if it should leave a snail-trail on me when I touch it. It wasn't until I started drying this one that it began to take on this rather forbidding pallor.
This is the same beast as before. It's got this spikey-looking growth around the very base of the stem. Note that it's not spikey, but rather soft when dry. I've been put under the impression that as long as this stuff's white like my cakes, and not gray, I should be in the clear. I figured, though, I might get another opinion.
Finally, I have a nice macro of one of my cakes. As you can see, these puppies also have that fluffy white growing around the bases. But I took this picture more for the purpose of pointing out the spots on my caps. Not all of them have spots, but this one clearly does. I was made to believe it's simply mycelia, due to an overly high humidity. Once again, I figured I should get another opinion.
I'd terribly appreciate any input you fine folks might want to throw in. I suppose I ought to mention this is my second attempt at this fantastical sport of mushroom cultivation. My first attempt was essentially a bag full of horse pucky that did nothing for so many months, I became frustrated and abandoned all hope in it. That being said, I have no first-hand experience, only the vast amounts of conflicting information that the internet has brought to mine eyes.
Finally, a preemptive thanks to any responses, and I sure hope you enjoy the photos.

Looks fine but small.
Everything looks normal.
Maybe wait until the veil starts to tare a little on its own. Maybe more Free Air Exchange would help the size.

This guy:

Looks like that due to the fruit being waterlogged. If you weighed it, you would see it's slightly more dense than a typical fruit.
Performance (...aka dry weight) will diminish if waterlogged somewhat, but it's noting to be concerned about.
Welcome to the board.

Ah, excellent! Your responses are quite encouraging.
So, the general consensus I'm getting is, "More air, less water", right?

The "more air" part may take care of the waterlogging as well.

hello mushdog. nice freckles. all that myc overgrowth indicates more fresh air/ fanning needed. but it certainly wont harm them. see if flush number two produces bigger fruits. i find it usually does. dry your little wet shroom off. it will weigh the same as the others of the same size. (give or take). what flavour are they? mahalos and welcome.
