Tub A or Tub B?

Ok so I've got everything I need. I borrowed someone's car today and went out to get a couple bins/tubs.
Tub A (Rubbermaid 18 Gal)

Tub B (Sterilite 14 Gal, not as deep)

I'm thinking Tub A for glove box and Tub B for FC because it seems to be more even if I have less depth. I'm also using pint jars, which are just less than half of the height of the Sterilite one.
Either one doesn't have a clear lid so for a glove box it will be upside down when I work inside of it. I am thinking of inoculating 6 jars. If I get extra medicine out of it, I will simply give it away to those who need it.
Thoughts/opinions?
Also, tips greatly appreciated.

Don't forget about 4-5 inches of perlite in the bottom. I use a 68 qrt GB and it is a PITA, but I cant afford a hood right now.

Are you suggesting Tub A? I don't know which one to choose. I don't know how much of a grow to be prepared for. How tall it gets, etc.

I'd use the smaller tub for the Still Air Box/GB...You're only doing PF tek, so you don't need a HUGE amount of space like those who do Grain to Grain (G2G) in theirs.
The larger one would def. make a better FC do to the height. Remember, you've got 4" perlite + 2" cakes + 3-4" (mushrooms) = 10" AT LEAST in height is necessary. I'd give it 12-14 just to be safe as for air flow. The monos I'm currently using are 12" tall...
As for the GB, I don't think you're going to need to flip it over. I really liked my find due to the clear lid. However, I have yet to look through the lid. Sit at your workstation w/ the tote in-front of you on the work table. Then, see where the comfortable armholes would be while working in the GB. You'll look like an idiot, but you'll have a perfect GB the first time around...unlike most of us...

your fist mistake was pint jars, get 1/2 pints for the first time out.
Not saying it will not work, just saying that you are increasing your chances of failure.

and either or tub with be fine.
