That might not work so well for guys though...
when I was driving a cab we had a gay driver that avoided jail for a suspended license and a bench warrant by crying, he was on the radio the whole time, my passengers sat in my cab for an extra 15 minutes listening to the shit because they wanted to know how that drama was gonna play out
it was hilarious, they even applauded when he came back on all nonchalantly and said, "well that was easy"

I had a buddy that pulled the "gay act" along with crying , needless to say he got out of it....I think the cop felt awkward more than anything.
I've been pulled over a handful of times, usually for petty things such as rolling through a stop sign or no front license plate...But once for speeding, I was doing something around 80 in a 55.
It was on a back mountain road and I was coasting down a hill, came around a blind corner and CHP got me, I knew right away....I was rather stoned when this all went down and had bud on me as well, so I was honest with him when he asked how fast I was going. Asked if I had been drinking, which I had not been but I did have a few un-opened beers in open site in the back seat. He did the ol' follow his finger with out moving my head, then told me to slow it down a bit and have a nice day .
Been driving for a little over 5 years now, pulled over 5+ times (stoned almost every time), and I still have yet to get a ticket for anything (knock on wood) . Though I am always an aware and cautious driver, rarely go much more then 5mph over the speed limit, and constantly on the look out for the 5-0 .

I personally have had more than 50 tickets and had my license suspended 11 times, once for 7 years, that improper lane change sent my point count to 17, 3 over what was needed for a revocation

damn ...aint that some shit!?
I have a buddy that's well on his way to that sort of record/point count. Mostly speeding tickets, and a few fender-bender accidents. Dude is lucky though, with the way he drives I'm surprised his car isn't totaled, or that he isn't dead. He drives like a total jack ass, pisses off other drivers all the time, and can't seem to drive a straight line ever (constantly swerving about his lane)...
