So I found some old Agar Agar and Nutrient Broth with Peptone...

Cleaning out the lab at work today and came across some Agar Agar Powder and some dehydrated nutrient broth (3g Beef Extract and 5 g Peptone per liter).. This stuff is old (both the agar and the nutrient broth).. Like from 1980 old.. I was able to grind the nutrient broth back into powder form (it was all stuck together in clumps)and took some of the agar and broth home..  So my questions are:

1- What are the chances this stuff is still any good? I am going to try it either way, but I am not really confident that it will work.. Any thoughts?

2. Is nutrient broth agar good for growing mushrooms? I currently use MEA.

2- Does anyone have an agar recipe for agar agar and nutrient broth with peptone? I have no idea how much nutrient broth to add to 10 grams agar (my usual batch size)

What conditions was it kept under????
Was it exposed to light/oxygen/moisture?????

It should still be good if it were kept in a sealed vial in a relatively dark storage room.
