Easy come; easy go

Never got this bit o' wisdom. You can work and save for twenty years and then one bit of calamity, it is all gone.
Phrased another way, destruction is much quicker than creation. We can site spectacular events like the Twin Towers taking over a billion dollars and half a million man-hours to build - and destroyed in a day with less than a few thousand man-hours behind it.
Or the more recent Japan tsunami wiping out towns and villages built over decades, in a day.
On a tiny scale, my pitiful garden seedlings struggled for weeks to get a grip, and then one pelting rain killed them all.
Where is the yin/yang balance? Seems very lopsided to me.

Lifelong marriages (and other relationships) can easiloy be killed with a single act of betrayal.
You pick the field and I get to pick the example. Fair enuff?

Each moment comes easily and each moment leaves easily. Differences in the content of the moment don't seem to be the base of such thought.

I wanted to be on the side of destruction since it's quicker

I think you are misinterpreting the saying.
The saying is that things that were easy to get are also disposed of easily.
Anything that takes twenty years to acquire is hardly "easy come."
This particular aphorism doesn't say anything about those.

There is no balance, it all goes to entropy.
I think about it in terms of energy states. molecules objects everything is more stable at a lower energy state. All you have to do is add enough energy to the object and it will fall to a lower more stable energy state.

Nothing is easier come/easier go than life and death.
Did you have to do anything to achieve birth? Will you have to do anything to die?

No but Bruce Lee might have to do something to make you die. Which would be effortless, unless you're Chuck Norris.
