Thats such bullshit, im incredibly anxious all the time my confidence in shot to hell. It's not genetic because my entire family is outgoing as fuck except me makes me feel like an outcast all the time.
I still do extremely well because reading textbooks and studying doesn't take any social interaction.
I hate excues because most of the time the people making excuses have the least right to use them.

Fuck that. No way in hell you are getting a Bachelor's without very heavy social interaction with teachers, peers, and teams. That social interaction is absolute lifeblood for some people. Others hate every minute of it.
You should be helping this person and emphasizing with them instead of tearing then down. What the hell is wrong with you?

i can socially interact with people though it's difficult. so it's just not social aspects but worry about grades, future, and anxiety in general on top of shitty depression.

I guess I'm the exception then. Some people are just pussies, I fucking have to puke every time I have to talk to more than 2 people at a time; it tears me up inside knowing I'm socially inferior. I still tough my way through it.
This guy is just lazy. I'm not going to feel empathy for someone that is just being lazy.
College is the perfect time to stop being a pussy and start doing some real shit.

You're just feeling hateful out of frustration with your own situation. Apply that energy to something more positive. At least relax here on the shroomery where you can statistically assume that everyone is on your side.

i could say the same thing about you being social and say stop being a pussy and being scared of people as your saying about doing my school work. i never said i was looking empathy, just to see if people have been in similar situations.
btw, why do you think your socially inferior?

I'm just focusing on the type of energy that helped me. Coddling weaknesses isn't always the best course of action. Once you are 100% on the material it's a lot easier to walk into that class ready for anything. Which equates to reading the text book using the internet making sure you are the most knowledgeable in the class.

The solution is probably to throw yourself into the fast lane. Wake up to workout to breakfast to class to study group to job to reading textbook to bed. All you think about is the next simple goal. I would love to say I have achieved such dedication, but it's a good way of life anyway.

i agree. it's just hard to stay motivated and focused when i'm in constant fear of being kicked out and there's only a month of school left.

Hey, that's a pretty good philosophy. Keeps you busy and on the path toward excellence.

A month? Well, just spend every waking hour of every day on your schoolwork. It's hard, especially if you are used to using several hours a day on weed and booze and friends, but a solid 4 hour study session is several chapters in a book. Start the day with 100 jumping jacks. It's cheesy advice, but humor me!

Keep us posted on your study progress. It might be good to have a study log in a public place.

Running is very good, if you are feeling frustrated run until you puke, literally. After that you can't even think hard enough to worry. It works trust me.
You have to really push your self, remember this post.
After you run until you can't run anymore run 2 more minutes as fast as you can.
If you still think you are inconvenient and anxious after that there is no hope. If you feel on top of the world you can over come this bullshit.

It sounds like you don't want to be in school right now.
I went to school for a bit, had no motivation or drive and did terrible my first year. I got some credits, but I always skipped class and never ever studied.
Thankfully, EVERYONE can work a few part-time jobs and live a minimum wage existence until you know what you want to do.
Take some time off and go back to school when you are ready. I know the feeling of not giving a fuck. I've been out of school for 2 years and my mentality has changed SO MUCH since then.
Take some time to realize how shitty your life would be without an education. Get in shape, improve your confidence, live in the real world for a bit, then get back on the horse.
If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. College isn't for everybody.
