didn't know that. but how does whether or not bonds used steroids have to do balco. if they already knew he used them, then it would make sense to get him to testify whether he got it from balco.

I would love to see all drug prohibition abolished. That isn't the point. It never was the point. The Constitution clearly allows it, as just about everybody with the least little understanding of Constitutional law realizes. And if the People wanted to end drug prohibition it would be over. The government is doing the People's bidding here and whether you or I like it is of no consequence. Neither of us is the dictator of the United States of America. I asked it before and I'll ask it again. Do you think individual law enforcement officials should be empowered to decide what laws to enforce or not enforce?
You're fucking ridiculous.

The Facts Are: We know he did steroids. He said he didn't know he was doing them. It's all hearsay from the prosecution. He obviously did them and knew it but a good lawyer will get you out of anything. Plus, your head trainer is in jail for not talking. Even if he does get convicted, what's going to be the sentence? Probably some probation and maybe 1 year in a minimum security prison.

They should be empowered NOT to enforce any laws against victimless crimes. In fact, they already are. There are many laws on the books the pigs ignore.

One year in any prison would be devastating to me.

No, they should not and can get in trouble for it. Why do you think that they should be allowed to over-ride the will of the People? Though there may be some minor infractions they don't bother with THIS, steroid use, is clearly not one of them.

You're not a multi-millionaire giant. If I was in his position I could do it standing on my head.
The trainer already did quite a stint and will be released as soon as the trial is over unless they bring other charges beyond the current contempt citation, especially if Bonds gets convicted. One of the lies he told was that no one other than his doctors ever injected him with anything. Unfortunately for BigHead a close family friend was forced to reluctantly testify that she saw the trainer inject him personally. That's gonna be a tough one to beat. No hearsay or innuendo involved.

Why do you think the will of the people should over-ride personal freedom? Fuck the majority. I also wish you would just admit that you've lost this argument. If you're against drug laws you shouldn't try to justify the government persecuting users and dealers. Just stand up for freedom.

Fuck the majority? Uhhh no, fuck dictators like you. Do you think you should have the personal freedom to lie under oath?Quote:

Uhhh no. I have destroyed you.Quote:

I'm against individual jackasses making their own laws. They aren't pErsecuting anybody. If you don't want to be prOsecuted, stop breaking the law. If you don't like the laws either work to change them or move. You are not a special snowflake who gets to tell everybody else what the laws are. You can say what you think they should be but you do not get to say what they are.
None of that, by the way, sanctions lying under oath. Which is the only crime BigHead is charged with. You cannot pervert the entire justice system to suit your minority view of what laws should and should not exist and permitting perjury is an attack on the entire judicial system. If he had told the truth with zero threat of prosecution for using he wouldn't be charged with anything at all.

How many fucking times are you going to ask me some variation of that question. YES. Prosecution is persecution, btw. I know it's hard for you wrap your head around but I don't support democracies and constitutions. I don't want to be a dictator over anyone. Can't you tell I'm an anarchist? Jesus Christ. I believe in freedom and you believe in our faggy government. Good for you. Go say the fucking pledge and honor veterans or some shit.

Convicted on obstruction, mistrial on the others. Can you say OJ? What do you want to bet there were only 1 or 2 not guilty morons on the jury?

There was on one, his using the substance was 11-1 if I remember correctly. Just wonder if he can do time on obstruction. Isn't it a felony?

The one count that was 11-1 to convict was whether he lied about being injected by anyone other than a doctor. How that one idiot couldn't get on board is a mystery. The obstruction carries a potential 10 year sentence but he is not likely to get jail unless the judge thinks the jurors were beyond stupid and figures she'll get him for that.

Though it's not Bonds, why isn't Palmero getting indicted as well? He seems to have dissapeared off the whole map after his arrogent spiel.

Because he didn't commit perjury while under oath. He's probably out of the country anyway.
