I've read that the stuff at the bottom of those candles after you use them is actually just the wax from the candle.  I heard they don't work, but I could be wrong.

Qtips in my ear, oh hell yeah it's like some form of addiction, :feelsgoodman:

Mother fucking ear orgasm.

In fact, the ear has a G-spot, said Dr. Todd Dray, an ear, nose and throat surgeon at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center-Santa Clara. "The skin in your ear is super thin -- it's paper thin," he said. "It's very sensitive. And there are a lot of nerves that converge in the ear."

No, I use them to clean my guns. They work great on bolts, chambers and slides.

But q tips don't really take wax out. Wax comes out on it's own.

You have to use peroxide to clean that shit out.

Using q-tips can actually push wax back in, creating a blockage.

interesting, i'll look into using peroxide instead.  h2o2 is something I would typically avoid though, at least as an educated guess, it really shouldn't be used on wounds or sensitive spots as far as my medical training has told me.

Something I just saw...

    * DO NOT use full-strength hydrogen peroxide. You'll damage your eardrum with anything of a concentration greater than 3%.
    * DO NOT try this if there is any opening in the eardrum. (ie. ruptured eardrum, or tubes)
    * Avoid using hot water when trying the shower method, this is dangerous for the eardrum.
    * Do not allow water, especially tap water, to remain in the ear, as this can lead to serious ear infections. Tap water contains pathogens such as pseudomonas which may not be harmful in drinking water, but can cause big problems in the ear.
o If you could not remove all the wax, it will trap some of the water in the ear. You can reduce the risk of ear infection by using a safe sterilizing and evaporating agent such as a few drops of spirit (methylated spirits or rubbing alcohol) or a commercial preparation such as Aquaear (a treatment for swimmer's ear).
