I fruited my monotub on the 18thKnots showed up 5 days later with a blue/green spot 5 days later and that spot is the same but it started showing up in other parts I figured it was bruising but I'm really paranoid because I love growing ( actually more then I like eating them ) and I don't want to completely screw my house up with the mean green spores I'm not moving anytime soon either I figured it should have been EVERYWHERE by now. what do you guys think? sorry the pictures kinda suck,If you can't tell i'll take more,I'm hoping RR will stumble across this, not that I don't trust you guys but I know coming from his,it's gold but I'll take what I get thank you in advance,I appreciate it the last 5 days have been hell, going back in forth ...it's just a bruise ...crap, it trich...I'm going nuts guys

damnit!!!! You think I should try salting it down It hasn't gotten any worse since it showed up five days ago Do you think that would hold it off till my first flush? I had pink mold on a cake the first time I grew it was piled up with crap and spread to my other cakes in no time the q tip I used on it gave up pink spores this stuff didn't ,q tip was clean sorry ,I might be in denial I just don't want to chunk it if I don't have to Its getting too hot where I'm at and this is it for me till sept. I read a post about cubes bruising green I've never seen trichoderma up live and personal ugh .... I'm screwed right ....

I see no trich. I'm not sure what the speckles are, but it's not trich. It doesn't look contaminated at this time.
There is no such thing as a q-tip test. That was disproved years ago. Bruising will easily rub off on a q-tip. RR

ah crap...I knew I should have waited I salted all the spots ,about 5 different spots how bad is that going to be,will that hurt the mycelium, I just done it a couple hours ago, should I try scraping everything out or would that be counterproductive thanks RR I appreciate ya giving some input bruising will come off too, damn ...learn something new everyday lol My main concern is my future grows, even if its going to be at least 6 months away now I feel like an idiot

I believe RR. Everything looks fine.
Be wary of bad advice.
I have never salted, so I don't know. I would rinse with water, like a quick dunk if I had salted.
Good luck

the minute salt hits mycelium, it turns blue and bruises really bad
i doubt it'll recover from it.
