Cut deep in me
    #14197146 - 03/28/11 10:43 AM (12 years, 10 months ago)

terrific dream last night. dreams like this, so vivid, realistic, feasible in their unfoldings, are they actually happening? it's happening while it's happening, but just because it was manifested does it have actual existence? what is existence then if my dearest, strongest visualizations are as real as the life i'm living? what is physical existence? everything in the dream, while it happened, was tangible and real and there was an absolute, physical quality to everything i touched and witnessed. what is the nature of reality? is it really just what we see, what we sense, everyday, in our typical, waking state?

if i could not reconnect and feel my body so easily as i lay dreaming i would surely assume we traveled to other, just as real places in our sleep. people report seeing an illuminated, blue cord connecting their astral self to their physical bodies lying back in this world. can we really travel away from ourselves? is it an actual place we travel to during this, or is it only part of our imagination?

why are some dreams completely "dreamlike" and others undeniably real, complex and vivid to the touch? how can my mind replicate dreams and images that, at the time, are more real and believable than this reality where, lying in my bed, these things are being created inside my sleeping body? do we all share a collective dream space, if it is true we travel away to some other dimensional realm?

just like i cannot see myself ever completely accepting that i am not a separate organism, living in my environment, i cannot quite believe i'll ever know myself, for sure, to travel away from my waking body to visit dream and astral worlds. is this reasonability or stubbornness? why is everything illusory and unfathomable? must our existence in an undefinable universe be riddled forever?

Dreams are indeed exciting. I especially love nightmares because they are like a horror movie that is much more realistic.

I never astral projected. I used to try but it never worked.

The only difference between dream-state and wake state is, that in wake state your 'inside' is projected and reflected upon the outside environment in different degrees.
In dream-state your brain is still projecting, but only upon that what you have learned while the time before (your memory).
That's why in dream-state reorganization of memory happens.
