Heat-Resistant Plastic Bags
    #1419675 - 03/31/03 01:06 PM (13 years, 9 months ago)

I have a problem and I was wondering if you guys could help me out with it. A while back, I read someone's post about plastic ziploc bags that are heat-resistant and can be thrown in an oven, or pc-ed, etc. Does anybody know a) what these are called and/ or b) where to look for them? I think he said that they are used for cooking roasts and stuff like that.

These are for a friend who needs something en lieu of filter patch bags for spawning shit.

Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe Oven Bags? They don't zip, but they have a zip-tie like thing for closing them. They are used to cook turkeys and chickens. 2 turkey sized bags for $.99 at the $.99 store!

I wouldn't recommend these for PC, as they are thin and tend to stretch, creating tiny holes. Also, using shit/compost, you don't want to sterilize it anyway. The zip ties that come with the bags work fine in the oven (they would probably hold up in the PC) which would be the best way to pasturize shit.
