BRF Tek: Holes
    #14194747 - 03/27/11 11:24 PM (10 years, 1 month ago)

Been trying to find answers through search, but not much luck.
So heres my question:

Doesn't drilling holes below the perlite in the fruiting chamber (especially the bottom) cause a big mess?

Thanks,

no, the perlite will block the holes enough to hold itself in..

If you move the box around it will sprinkle out.

I noticed that a little bit falls out.. but it's not enough to create a huge mess or to persuade you from drilling the holes correctly.

Just keep it to the terrarium tek specifications. 1/4" holes every 2 inches and you'll be good

I lined the bottom of my shotgun with plastic window screen. No more perlite mess.

Wouldn't that mean there is no airflow through the bottom holes?
