4 volts of fun

Would (1) 4 volt night light be enough light for a 29 inch by 15 inch by 8 inch high terrarium?

the more bright light the better. they really do love all the light they get and they will thank you for it.

if you give them the minimum, they return the favor...or lack of.

They don't use light to grow, only to point them in the right direction. Will 4 volts be sufficient to penetrate a 1/2 inch peat moss casing layer? that's the question.

It doent have to penatrate the casing layer. You let the casing layer colinize in your incubator in the dark and then you put that casing in the fruiting chamber, add light and increase the air exchange. Why does the light have to penatrate the casing layer? It doesnt.

No,don't have to penetrate.....
The light just need to be enough to get the col. substrate to initiate the formation of knots.
I use fluorescent (white or blue ligth)
