Hi all,
I'm a noobie and was wondering if there is an online resource for identification of mushroom species using search filters like spore color, gill adnexed/adnate type etc since I'm new. Im slow with the different parameters for posting formal ID requests and this might help in that process since I'm finding them these days faster than I feel like posting individual requests for.
I'm a programmer and feel like some database should hire me to write some boolean search filters for an existing database if there is one. I did the same thing with a radio astronomy database called Splatalogue and think it would be really useful in this instance.
Anyway, hopefully somebody knows of one (and it exists at all) since mushroom season is coming on strong...

I think that what you are looking for is Boletus http://www.boletus-app.com. Its a web/mobile application to search mushrooms given its attributes (color, shape, cap, etc).
