While I understand their is a possibility of the spiritual and an afterlife (for no one can know), I also think it is a complete fool's game to give any credence to non-sensible claims for which there is no evidence.

there's a possibility of evidence being a manifestation of one's belief.

what i'm saying is to a particular mind, the spiritual or "astral" (non-material) plane of existence can appear to be just as real as the physical one we experience every day. they are both vaild experiences, and each are just as real as the other
you gotta watch your definitions for what "real" is. go deep within your self and uproot and analyze and look really closely at what you're defining "reality" to be.
check my sig: ((phyzims)). start listening @ pt 4

What the thinker thinks, the prover proves kinda-thing? I believe that's probably true (LOL), and it also works in the case of skeptics... since they don't believe in a particular phenomena they have no chance of experiencing it.

That^ is one of the biggest problems in sharing space with them... They can't 'be there' unless they first allow the possibility in their own mind/understanding. 'The structure' itself won't allow any further passage for them.
And, I fear they give up or decide to remain skeptical due to mostly preconceived biases and cultural pressures.
Like this:
Hemroid said: 'You actually believe that!?' Preparation H said: 'Fuck yes, that is how it works and only how it works!' Lady Gaga said: 'Baby I was born this way...!'
