I wrote an equation that gives the area of a polygon in terms of x
where x is the number of sides
and the perimeter is fixed at one
and i graphed it
and it has a horizontal asymptote at pi
showing that a polygon has the highest area, given that the perimeter is fixed at one, when the number of sides reaches infinity
or in other words becomes a circle
since a circle is a polygon with infinite sides
the same way a line is a circle with infinite diameter
