Bad experiences at a Motel 6?

So I'm staying at a hotel 6 in downtown, just relaxing and drinking beers when first I have this guy knock on my door. His face was like the elephant man (no joke) and he asks if I can charge his phone. I didn't think my charger would fit but I said I'd try. I did fit and I told him to come back in a half hour and I'll give hime his charged phone. So he comes back and wants to borrow my charger after I give him his phone and that is the end of it. Later a guy comes, knocks on my window, then my door, and asks if he can charge his cell phone, and strangely enough, it fits and I start to charge it. I let him in though I leave the door open, and he takes a seat. He then views the room and views my laptop and beer, and asks if I've been getting fucked up. We talk a little bit and then he gets up and shuts the door which made me EXTREEMLY uncomfortable and I try to bullshit with him for a minute like I'm ok with him then I get up and say I feel more comfortable with the door open. I give him back his cell from my charger because he says he wants to call a friend. After I listen to him talking I can sense he's weighing his options of robbing me or not. I tell him that lets hang out tonight and drink to get him to leave the room. Locked, bolted, and that small metal steel thing thats like a chainlink but I guess stronger. He never came back and I was left alone the rest of the night. Anyone have any sketchy situation stories simular to this?

wow thats fucking sketchy. lesson learned: don't open the door to strangers and then let them in your room, specially at a cheap motel.

I'd have showed him my pistol and asked him what he wanted. I bet he wouldn't have wanted anything at all.

When I was about 10-12 years old my family and I were staying at a Motel 6....
Middle of the night, 2am to 3am or so, some dude just randomly opens the door (which was locked, so he must of had a key) and steps in...Stares at us for a moment, then walks back out. I was half asleep and don't recall seeing him, but I do remember hearing the door open and my mom freaking the fuck out...

i love shitty motels. theyre only fun if youre the crazy guy (or with the crazy people) though.
especially if you pay cash and they dont check your ID when you check in (as happens in most shitty motels), because then you can fuck shit up and leave in the morning like a ghost, and they cant do shit.
its like a room (or multiple rooms) in which you can party and nobody cares because theyre all awake too since theyre crackheads. bring some beer, some bud, and whatever other drugs youve got and go wild.
some of my best memories are in the worst hotels.

More strange than a bad experience at Motel 6 would be someone telling a story about a good experience at Motel 6.

i used to know a drug dealer that would just rent out a motel 6 room every night and hustle everything from weed and xanax to ketamine and ecstasy
dunno how that fool got away with it, he would literally sometimes have a line of people coming up to the door.

Lol. Stuntmanmike has had good experiences. And I get what he is saying. If it's truckers, construction workers, or people traveling I've never had a problem. But downtown, I'll never stay there again.

That sounds pretty sketchy lol.

Haha, they were trying to pull a jack-move on your ass.
