first run, pftek current! HELP!!!???

hi all... i just made a dozen Verm/BRF jars... what a pain in the ass... vermiculate is messy when wet, Brown Rice Flower had to be made from brown rice, my coffee grinder dies in the middle... whatever... my PC is only big enough for 6 jars...

so i have decided since im already pcing 6 jars ill use one full syringe for these 6 jars... dump/clean the other 6 for another day... this is the freebie syringe of the month from tlg... malabar... so i have the following questions...

1. i hear more spore solution stronger/faster colonization... ill be using 2cc per jar.. is this ok?

2. how long could i keep my other syringe (EQ) in storage?? and how should i store it??

im one frustrated noob... it seemed so much simpler reading the faqs... heh...

why did you dump out the other 6 jars? if you planned on sterilizing them sometime soon it would've worked to just leave them as is. anyway, 2 cc's per jar is fine. syringes i dont believe are as durable as prints, but ive had a syringe for 5-6 months that worked just fine. just keep it someplace cold (i.e. refrigerator). good luck man

i actually didnt dump them as i was about to dump em i said fuck it ill sterilize them and see what happens i think ill go with my original plan of 1cc per jar...

thanks for clarifying the syringe.. ill be using them as soon as my jars are free again... so 1 month max im guessing...

ill be making prints of both of these...

my first pf tek grow took 6 weeks to get most of the jars colonised. these days if i do pf, i keep the mixture really fluffy, use 5 or six holes in the lid, or (even better) don't use a lid at all: foil covering (see the pftek for dummies at www.fungifun.org) is much better ime, because of the added air exchange.

and it still takes 20-25 days! :tongue:
