How many of you get mycelium secretions?

Do you guys often get mycelium secretions (as know as myc piss)? Since Ive used horse poo as a substrate, (2 times) I get huge pools of the stuff all over the surface. If this is normal (being the result of the mycelium "eating" the substrate), how come you guys rarely get this? Or have I just never noticed it on your photos? Still uindecided whether and when to soak it up...My monotubs are nearly fully colonised. Maybe next time I'll colonise at lower temps, so any other competing bacteria will have more trouble, leaving our mycelium a better chance.(the secretions are also to fight against bacteria I think) But Ive had 21 celcius ontop of the substrate. What if next time I add some verm to the mix? maybe it could soak up some of it? But I would see that as a not so good thing since it would still be there. well I dont think it harms the mycelium, its just that when it comes to fruiting, if there are pools of the stuff I fear it would prevent pins from forming. I'll try to post some PICS soon!

I personally dont have huge pools Do you use horse poo as the only ingredient of the sub ? About the temp, 21C, is pretty fine, i dont think the secretion comes from that.

Metabolites (that's the correct word). Maybe your substrate was not properly pasteurized Too many metabolites are not a good sign.

Hopefully everybody.
The mycelium secretes enzymes to help break down the substrate for digestion and also to help ward off competitors. If you're using excessive temperature or have excessive contaminants, you'll have more of these secretions, which have nothing to do with urination. RR

I will normally get an excess of metabolites on the surface if my RH is too high, and standing water is forming on the top of the substrate. Solution is to increase FAE.

ok so should I soak it up when I decide to fruit? (when I fruit I mean basiclly unblocking the holes and stuffing them with polyfill for GE, taking the perforated foil off, introducing daylight, etc) because it may prevent pins from forming? I have pasturised for one hour, maybe next time I'll go for one and a half
