Bob Dylan "the times they are a-changin'" is an optimistic prophecy of what he thought would happen at the end of the 60's revolution. GREAT song, sad in retrospect.
Get Credence Clearwater Revival "Fortunate Son". This is from the same era, and tells it like it was/is.
More will come to me. This should get you started.
What's the one off the Beatle's white album "so you say you wanna revolution", that's a fun song. Not THE most political, but fun listenin.

then you'll love Atari Teenage Riot. They play hardcore drum&bass speed distorted breakbeats with electric guitars and screaming riot vocals. look them up on SoulSeek or Kazaa right away.

Godspeed You Black Emperor is not punk. And what the fuck do they have to do with politics? They don't even have any vocals in their music.
