Well my area is so thick with mushrooms that it is getting kinda silly.

Nice to see this area bouncing back after it was trashed by someone evil a couple of weeks ago. Lots of mushroom and mycelium pulled out of the ground with gaping big holes left behind, and the mushrooms not even taken, just chucked about and left to shrivel up. very sad.
Here is what is growing by my next door neighbour's front fence. Some were getting a bit past it so I have liberated them, still a fuck ton of pins and small ones coming through too. All next door. Noice!

Ja! I am the mushroom fairy to my interested friends that is for sure!
I have maybe a dozen pretty productive patches within an easy walk of my house and officially don't need to hunt anymore this year, but the neighbours patch is too tempting to not harvest. Last year only got about 15 out of the same area but it is coming up trumps this season.

Hey all, this is my first time on schroomery and came for some advice. Can anyone help me confirm these are subs? Spore print came back dark violet - brown and they all appear to bruise blue.
Found in outer east melbourne:

Many thanks!

They look good mate. Photos are a bit yellow. Can you take some more under better light? Try posting in the main hunting and id forum and you'll attract more TI's (trusted identifiers).

Thanks mate, I think you are spot on. Some of the subs that I have left alone have become wavy as they mature. The patch is absolutely cranking at the moment. Praise be to mother nature eh! The gallerina's are also spreading. They look very similar to subs when young - it is only a slight colour difference. As they mature the difference becomes more obvious. I can see how people get confused.
Cheers

Second successfull hunt, found a lovely patch however most of the fellas were way to gone which was a major bummer, but very grateful for what i was able to take. P.S I have tried numerous bush and plantation hunts with not a sub in site, i am however in western victoria. Could anyone point me to any info on bush hunting?
