In a act which totally goes against my perceived ethos of taking shrooms; a friend of mine was mugged of his picked shrooms about a week ago by a gang of older teens... this saddens me and people like that give us all a bad name. The only reason i didn't wish for a poisonous variety to be hidden in the bag is that i didn't want to give the people against the consumption of shrooms and other drugs another poisoning story in the paper.
i shared some of my harvest with my friend, Solidarity among shroomers man.

Fuck man... I'd kind of wondered if dodgy folk would do that... I guess some people live up to their low-life expectations.
You all probably know the type... those douche bag "let's get fucked up" folk that are probably the same ones rubbing up on unconsenting women at raves, getting too fucked up, starting fights with bouncers and police... The folk who treat things like their possession that you stole off of them.
Scumbags.
Solidarity to you brother, glad to hear you helped out your friend!

Tell you what, if Amanita were the mushrooms I were after, I'd have enough for a lifetime and then some. They are absolutely everywhere here. Found a patch of over easily 200 the other day, didn't have my phone to take a picture unfortunately. It was an amazing sight!
I have had not much luck either on my planned hunts in ballarat area but did manage to stumbble across a patch of about 8 subs at a place i just went to for the sake of (so in a way lucky!) however i only harvested 1 sub from this patch (avatar picture) due to how small the rest were and how small the patch was. So atm my thoughts are there must be more patches out there in this area... if there is one patch there has to be more. correct me if im wrong. I also must agree with you about amanita's they are everywhere around ballarat area, too bad i dont eat them either!

Hey guys,
Finally had a proper find today!
Could only get one shot of the area as it was pissing down with rain.
Pity half of them looked a bit old and scraggy so I didn't bother grabbing them, But there were plenty of pins about, so will have to check back soon, and hopefully get them a bit fresher
I just noticed when I lay them all out on some paper, that there is hundreds of tiny little bugs crawling around, is that normal? and will drying in front of the heater on low get rid of them all?
Thanks

All show signs of blue bruising.

Just wash them in the sink and sit them infront of a heater or fan untill dry. Ussaly takes more than one night. When there dry from the fan/heater, they might be a bit bendy, if they are, put them in the oven on a low temp. Check them now and then, untill there stems snap when bent..
Heat wont degrade the psilocin. It might, but it wont matter at ALL. heat will normally make the little insects leave, as they hate heat :P
They are some nice subs looking tasty

Don't wash them you'll just waterlog them more. Leave them in front of a fan the bugs that don't get blown off will leave when the gills start to dry out, they like moist environments. If they are dirty and need to be washed just rub them over with a damp paper towell.

Compare them with photos in this thread and ask yourself if they resemble subs... the answer should be "no".
The protocol is... with finds where you are unsure and you want someone to ID them for you, start a new thread.
Welcome to the Shrooooomery.

sweet mix would def enjoy a chilled out trip to this. On a similar note any other rave types heading to pharmacy this friday night. Iv never done shrooms in a club environment but im thinking of giving it a shot there.
Sory dont mean to hijack the hunting thread with non hunting related stuff but just wondering what peoples experiences are with club environments tripping.

Went to wobble last Saturday on only 6 fresh mushys... Was pretty drunk also but definitely felt em, had a mad time I would suggest to have a fairly low dose because I can imagine things would get way to wild and dangerous if you lost your shit in a club. Also I think you have to go into the trip with the right mind in that you wont care if people look at you strange, wont get caught up if people are being cunts and not think about things to much, all this is easy achievable if you have a low dose. Hope you have a good time!

yeah dude, i wouldn't recommend tripping at pharmacy unless your a seasoned tripper and can handle ur shit well. my first trip i was balls to the walls tripping on like 10-15 medium sized subs at bubble, and i didn't know what i was getting myself in for. i was sooooooooooooooo high . like way to high to be in a club and surrounded by 1000 people.
it's alright to start out in the come up and giggly phase and whatnot, but once you hit the peak its really just too much to be in a packed club tripping face. you can't find your own space to chill out, everythings too cramped, you notice the changes in temperature in room to room ALOT, liek walking into a wall of temperature, and also sounds, you are really tuned into the sounds your hearing and its similar again like walking into a wall of sound when you walk into the main rooms and things. Plus people will notice that you are ridiculously high too.
I'd just save the tripping for a more chilled place, or if your set on tripping, take a really small dose. less is more.
I've tripped at PHD events too, and i could handle it relatively well, but the thin
