I find its more organic, more earthy, i dunno psychedelic experiences are so hard to put into words. Definitely "lighter" than LSD though, Mushrooms are far more on the intense side in my opinion, hands down.
I've coped on 20 hits of LSD and struggled on minor doses of mushrooms.
Lesson being, respect them. They aren't a party drug and will kick you right in the arse if you fuck with them.

Word of advice, fuck the levels off. They mean fuck all, your own brain dictates where you get to and what you experience.
All the best for next weekend, im sure you'll have a blast just make sure you're strapped in and know what you're lookin for.

agreed. 4.2g of subs fucking annihilated me. while eating lots of acid weekly, working the dosage up week by week and reaching somewhere around 12-1400ug didnt fuck with me anywhere near as much as that one trip. mushrooms are the most powerful psychedelic that exists imo.

i think it's more so a way to describe the sort of trip strength.
lv1 being brighter colours, giggles etc while lvl5 is total loss of reality and ego death.

The last image with the maroonish mushrooms, i can't describe their numbers. Literally 10's of thousands over a kilometre of bushland. Never seen anything like it.

Your little mushrooms are:
1. Cruentomycena viscidocruenta 2. Mycena cystidiosa 3. Mycena kuurkacea
these Mycenas look a hell of a lot like the bleeders from here in the PNW ! they resemble M haematopus and even M sanguilenta a bit too i think. break the stem and see if it exudes a red liquid, wiki didnt say if Mycena kuurkacea bled. I know Timmi has been looking for a bleeder there in Australia.

Yes, they are bleeders. They're very closely related to M. sanguinolenta and went by that name until being described as a separate species in 2003. I still haven't found them though. I don't come across any Mycena very often.

.... looking at your images i can only see bruising in the first pic, and a few of them have quite dark brown stems. looks like you've picked a couple of different species, could you take a close up of the bruising?
pretty sure the majority of these are toxic

It's quite hard to tell from the photos, as they are quite poorly lit (no offence)... can you take some better pictures?
From the looks of it though, the second pic shows two different varieties. The bottom lot with thicker whiter stems appear to be P.Sub, actives, and the others something else. I would not under any circumstances ingest them though, even the thicker white stem variety until someone makes a proper id from better photos...
On an aside, I went out for a small hunt this arvo to a new patch from a month or so ago, and god bless all this rain, it was pretty darn full and roaring. Probs picked 150g, with many small pins coming up. Can't wait for my fav bush patch to kick into gear!
Best season in years so far...

Hey mate, you aren't going to find blue meanies growing in dung in Melbourne. You are thinking of cubensis which grow in warmer climates, ie qld... Melbourne offers psilocybe subaeruginosa... A Eucalypt loving variety. The subs are too serious for poo
