Why thank you Im not too sure what you mean, my assumptions would be ingestion yes?
Hope I am not too off topic and derailing the thread here: But I generally dry all my finds out for storage and use at a later date. I find it preferable dried as I do not enjoy all the critters that come with fresh finds. A typical Dashy dose is to consume 3-5grams dried and just to chew them down like chips.

holly crap shrooms are bloody everywhere where i live in Ringwood. I think I could collect thousands if I wanted to. Had first experiance on Friday, was good. Did it again on Sat (mixed with weed this time)and had a VERY bad experiance, ended up in hospital so just a warning to take it carefully with these things.

wal0013 said: I tripped last night after visiting my patch for the first time in almost a week, there were heaps but most had gnat larvae inside and were very dry and weathered. the sun certainly gave them a battering but luckily there were enough good ones to have a decent experience from. I can already tell this winter is going to be epic I cant wait for the season peak! Anyone got any good tips for drying though? I mean I've found it a bit cumbersome trying to dry any decent amount without them going off. I will probably construct some sort of drying chamber from a storage container and a few pc fans and a hell of a lot of desiccant. How effective you guys think 600g of desiccant will be in terms of drying? I've bought orange indicating silica (not blue because apparently cobalt is more toxic than whatever is in the orang ones), rest assured I will avoid contact between shroom and desiccant. How do you guys do it?
Oven for me. Put it on as low as it will go with the door ajar, measured the temp to be 40 degrees at the most. Much lower temp than the water people use to make tea. 2hrs and they're cracker dry.
My last stores ran out 2 weeks ago and am yet to have a real hunt, keep the pictures coming so i can live vicariously.
Cheers All

G'day guys, would love an ID on this promising find i stumbled upon today. Possible psilocybe cyanescens?
Found on 01/05/2011 in the inner Melbourne area of Victoria Australia. Small patch found growing underneath a native tree in the woodship substrate of a garden bed with damp, decomposing leaf litter. Gills are a creamy off white colour. Stem on the largest specimens is 2.5cm and approximately 0.5cm thick. The stem is glossy and a sharper white than the gills. Caps are convex and a yellowish brown caramel colour, with the edges being lighter and closer to yellow than the darker centre. Largest is approximately 2.5cm in diameter. Caps have faded in shade since picking. Soft, rubbery almost wet texture on top. Spore print is purple. All parts of the mushroom (stems, cap, gills) bruise after a few minutes to a very dark bluish purple colour, setting in to become very dark and almost black. Has a distinctive scent of mushrooms when sniffed.

Usually if you trip twice in close proximity the experience is much less enjoyable the second time, some asy, and I have found that 3 days spacing is best. I've had them again like 1-2 days afterwards but find it's very shallow and not anywhere near as exciting. I've not had a bad experience though. Presumably the brain requires time to replenish certain neuro chemicals before a trip can occur again. What exactly happened? Hopefully you are fully recovered from whatever occurred.
