the one under the key is a no go. how freshly picked are they? no blue bruising yet by the looks and off those photos very difficult to tell. print print print
id almost put the house on em being fakes though. fairly certain.

just out of curiosity guys, i found a nice big chuck of bark which had a few mushrooms growing out of it. i snipped the shrooms and then lifted up the bark and there were another 2 peices of bark stuck to it with mycelium. i took the bark home split up the peices of park and put it in a few different beds. i dunno if its the right bark, it was with the house 15 years ago but lets just imagine that the bark is fine, whats the chances of it spreading this way? slim? or pretty good?

it probably wont do anything for you this season,
but remember it is there and give it a water every now and then, and you could be rewarded next year,

theyre in pretty good spots, ones at the back of the shed and would get bit of runoff plus a lot of leafy debri. the other in a bark bed without much cover, natural wise, but has a cubby house there which is good protection and shade. both are naturally constently damp during autumn winter and spring. ill see how i go ey. fingers crossed

Hi, just need some help with these. They were not what i was looking for but since they were blue I thought I might pick them. They were found in the Otway national park. White stem, very blue cap with black dot in centre, also very sticky on surface of cap. No spore print because they dried too fast.

Here is an exact pic of what they looked liked on the dead tree.
Just to clarify not the magic kind?
I've found gold caps before and they bruised blue, but i've never seen something so blue to begin with.
