no no no.... They're all the same! its all in your head! Its the human variable that makes it different. One patch may be stronger. Where you are, what you've eaten before hand, what you're doing, who you're with etc. changes things. Its only 1 chemical that makes you trip... Psilocin.. How your mind and body reacts to it is what makes it different.

spent some time north west of melbourne lesterday, bush and pine plantation. Not much fungi fruiting at all. Bush yielded nothing Plantation yielded these
at first sight this lemon yellow, slightly slimy cap and rusty stem had us really sus. sorry cpp

here is how they turned out You can still see the red/brown stems the've bruised blue, was vivid blue green last night, little murkier now spore prints are deep purple, the photo shows a purple-brown, in real life its more of a purple-purple Chicken nipples, 10/10 thick prints in 12 hours, just cap on paper
Can anyone confirm the colour of these stem as normal??

Better leaving it in the bush than leaving your failed kidneys at the hospital a few weeks later

ive had the same problem. Fix: pick more matured caps, dont pick dome shaped ones pick the ones that have fully opened up and the sides of the cap are pointing directly out. also if you check the gills beforehand they will be kind of brownish from dropping spores, immature ones will have whitesh cream gills, these wont drop spores at all untill they mature a bit more.

me myself i'm more inclined to eat the stems then caps because sometimes wheni make tea i feel like i can feel myself drinking the spores, but it's all the same thing. your basically just throwing away half of your mushrooms by not eating the stems.

Yeah its a waste. One time i cut the stems off a whole bunch to make spore prints. I put them all in a jug and made tea out of stems alone. One of the craziest trips ever!

The ones I got had hollow stems but at the very base they were brownish on the inside. Was interested about yours.
