Humidity during harvest
    #14176045 - 03/24/11 02:09 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

I was reading in the Mushroom Cultivator that after primodia formation comes cropping and during cropping humidity should be lowered to 85-92 RH. I was wondering when to lower the humidity to the suggested 85-92. My mushies are about 1.5 inches tall but is that considered the cropping stage?

btw im growing bulk if that makes a difference

what do you mean by 'during cropping'?

the 'cropping stage' will take a few minutes; you open the tub, collect the mature fruits and close it.

dont bother about lowering rh or something.

fan and mist regularly, and harvest (when the veil starts to break, or, for prints, when the cap fully opened).

During cropping you should lower the humidity. But this is easily accomplished since you are introducing fresh air and evaporation happens on it's own.
