Planting Pot

I have an outdoor location for a summer grow. The are is as follows...., there is a small spring coming out of the rocks. the soil is rocky, alkaline, but also quite rich in some spots with decomposed volcanic rock and may have localized acidness. The location is in a canyon, and the summer temp average would be about 90F in daytime, and up to 110 on occasion, in midsummer. There will be little humidity in the day, but almost daily light thundershowers in the afternoon, after july. Nightime temps about 55~70 starting in June. There will be quite a bit of morning dew in the morning.
1) What ph range should I check for, for optimum growth? 2) I can move to a higher altitude with 5~10 colder temps if I want..what is the best temperature range for bud? 3) Should I germinate the seeds first, and then plant them? For example, germinate them in small cardboard containers that will dissolve when buried.
Any ideas I can glean from you guys will be appreciated. I usually have a good green thumb and just about everything I ever tried to grow has worked.

Germination beforehand is always good. Not necessary but ideal i suppose. Im not sure about the ph range although I think I read 7 is ideal(dont quote me on that) Also 5-10degree colder shouldnt matter a whole lot(another thing you shouldnt quote me on) Check the growery out if you have questions

I don't think your spot if good cannabis takes a lot of organic matter, and soil that is high in nutrients, slightly acidic, holds water but has air spaces. Cannabis will grow in that temp range but it will lower growth 10 degrees cooler will help. You also need to know the hours of sunlight. And daily dews / rains late in flowering can cause bud rot.

When does the autumn rains start? You'd want to keep ripening buds dry as possible from mid september to early october. Hopefully getting them in the ground no later than late june. Start seeds soon and presex them before planting them out.
