Not much to say here..... You fry the steak, bake the potato and boil the peas with some garlic, salt and pepper.

Used some steak rub too, got stoned and ate before taking the plate shot. Use your imagination

I think It's the strip half of a T-bone and the other side is the fillet mignon, I'm pretty sure..... fuck maybe it a porterhouse. I eat steak like twice a year.
The piece I couldn't finish.

No, no no. It's half of the T-bone without the bone and the fillet is on the other side of the bone. 2 different cuts dudes.

Just a bloody steak 3 minutes on each side, one turn. Really soft and tender with a baked potato and some beans.

A porterhouse is cut from the center of the loin. A t-bone is a cheaper cut closer to the end of the loin. The farther away from moving parts (head/feet/etc) steaks are cut from the more tender they will be. A porterhouse has a fillet on one side of the bone and a new york strip on the other side of the bone. T-bone is the same just cheaper cuts of fillet/strip.
Your steak is cooked/browned perfectly! Looks like you used montreal steak seasoning.. Yumm!! Your strip steaks look like high quality beef from the marbeling!

I made these two nights in a row they were pretty cheap, we got four for $14 from a local butcher shop. I used Szeged world's best steak rub on all of them. The second night I cooked them for four minutes on each side and they were even bloodier. I'll totally be going back to that place for all my steaks.

fuck! everything cost so much more here, in australia you would pay about $25 for four steaks like that and not from a butcher, just a chain supermarket. but then again the average US wage is about $40 000, in australia its $65 000. and our $ is worth more ATM.

4 for $14? At first look I thought they were tri tip steaks. At that price they just might be.
Or it was a great sale.. Either way, you did justice to such a good cut and Im sure it tasted great.

It's from a wholesale meats store/deli/taco stand/bbq joint. Great prices on everything but the hot food.
