After quite the hiatus

Goal : CR + GT, 8 rye spawn jars each to coir.
Last time I was spawning popcorn to hpoo (wbs or rye too difficult to obtain) and rigging repeat cycle timers in marthas. This time I decided to come back with a more technical approach.
Not Pictured: Relay connections for blower, ultrasonic, lights.
The thing is currently talking to my computer via serial, so I can have it email me, send me pics, or take instructions, possibilities are endless!
I just took two steps back and fell in love with my little bebebe, I had to share!

Details!
Its an arduino uno with some hacked together code (some parts were surprisingly easy.) The sensor is pretty good, 0-100% rh, plus temp thrown in, and quick to react. It will jump as soon as you breathe on it.
Its mounted on some cool poseable pipe I found on Mcmaster. I'm gonna poke it through the top of my fruiting tub in order to sample from dead center.
I have it checking humidity every 5 seconds. If it is below the 95-100 at which I set it, then it kickstarts a foggerbucket+blower until rh is where it needs to be.
I haven't tested it out yet as I'm short 1 blower fan, I want to see if this thing can keep things precisely humid without just drenching everything.
I figure I can hard code a "blow" every X minutes to guarantee FAE even if humidity stays where it needs to all day.
The pictures suck, but the entire first line of the LCD reads "ShrooMaster 3000".
Hopefully a blower and I will meet soon and I will have more interesting pics next time!

The arduino is a pretty cool little microprocessor. I've used them on a number of occasions for musical synthesis and also for some simple automotive applications. Were you the one that built the big pressure cooker?

Hahahaha, overkill should have been my first name.
I have this compulsive need for metrics, automation and remote access.
Grown mushies before, yet this is my first time doing G2G. Does this guy look ready to donate?

Hahahaha, nice! You know exactly what I mean. I had an almost identical setup a few years back (down to the marthas even).

My blower was way ratty! You have a damned fine one there from what I can see.

Yea, i bought it new, because all my HVAC buddies told me there'd be now way that I'd find one that'd fit the size of my tub...as in they'd all be WAYYY too big...o well..it was only $50 & I'm going to use the set-up for my gourmets once those come through. Just need another 400 sq. ft. on my house & I'll be golden...but don't we all?
