So I recently got some new San Pedros and I wanted to post them up here because they look quite a bit different from many of the other Pedros I've seen around. They were both labeled T. pachanoi, but I wanted to see what all of you thought. The second one definitly looks like its got some other genetics going on (bridgesii maybe?) as well as being montrose. Would these still be considered blackburgs?

They're not backbergs. Also, that's not monstrose growth. It's just a change in rib count/position, which can be the result of changes in growing conditions.

Mine look exactly the same, except for yours with longer thorns (for some reason it does resemble brig a little bit too) and one of mine even has the rib thing going on. It realized it was missing a point and grew another rib half way up.

Yeah, I really like the ones that look like they've got "dimples" around the areolae.
