What size cool mist do I need?
    #1417405 - 03/29/03 11:07 PM (14 years, 1 month ago)

I'm gonna set-up a grow chamber with a portable closet (60"L x 19"W x 64"H), and I want to know how large of a cool mist humidifier I need. They have ones with 4 and 9 gallon outputs. Anyone have experience with these??

Also, from what I understand, humidity sinks to the bottom of grow chambers. What have people done for shelf systems inside these closets, and how do you keep the humidity level even throughout? I plan on running PVC tubing to the top of the chamber and maybe the middle too. What do y'all think?

A regular sized humidifier should do fine.. if you've got the money you could get a humidstat which would almost assure perfect humidity levels.

You should put the pvc output at the top of the chamber..for good circulation you could have a small fan on the bottom layer blowing upwards.

Thanks, and a fan at the bottom... wonderful!
