ISO expert Advice

I am planning on making a journey into the wilderness in the near future. I have become fairly proficient at identifying edibles, although I am not comfortable enough to be 100% sure.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a good pocket guide that can tell me the edibles and poisonous look-a-likes?
If not a pocket guide, then something small enough to be unobtrusive.
I am also looking for a similar book with edible plants.
Thanks for the help!
Love,
-tek

mushrooms demystified is bulky and not light, but it's worth carrying anyway.

"North American Mushrooms: A Field Guide to Edible and Inedible Fungi " I've used this one for a while now. It's got some good info, but some is outdated. It's got nice color photos on every page, but this adds to weight in your pack.
-------------------- Having lived through an existence close to nature, one accepts the small and simple things as most important in life. Sun, wind, rain and snow. The sounds birds make, smells of fresh wild flowers. Love of all kinds, from friends and family, thy self and our neighbors. Beautiful sunrises to the darkest clouds dancing above in the sky. To forgive, learn, share and express. This is the only thing a man such as myself can ask for. What comes as the result is nothing short of the core of human existence, to truly live free in body and mind.

every field guide in print is outdated. most of them substantially. they still serve their purpose for just about all practical matters.
