It wouldn't be much different, but because I would have a lot of money I would dedicate more time to art and mind expansion and not doing things I don't want to do in order to get money.

I would give a lot to MAPS.

I would:

1) Buy a huge house with lots of land and a 4 wheeler or 2
2) Pay off my car
3) Get a maid to clean my huge house
4) Invest most of what's left over, or put it in a savings account so I could live off the interest (depending on how much is left)

Other than that, I would do whatever I felt like at the time

That's pretty much what I would do.

Yeah, it depends on what kind of person you are I guess; Obama seems to have loads of fun. :obama:

Because you'll burn through the money quickly that way.

Whereas I'll still be able to burn the money; I'll just do so at a much slower rate.

When I'm 50, I figure I can become some kind of drug addict.
And still never run out of cash.

Well in this hypothetical situation, let's say that the money is enough for you not to ever worry about money again.

I didn't think about whether I would start a family if I was rich; I am generally averse to that idea, because wouldn't ever want to have kids unless I was rich.

If I were rich, I would probably start my own family, I think it would be fun as hell if you never have to worry about money.

Well, I wouldn't want my kids to grow up rich and spoiled, so I still wouldn't live too lavishly.  But if this is the case, I'd get a fairly nice car and house.  Still nothing along the lines of a mansion or Ferrari though.

I'd adopt 2 girls.  The thought kinda terrifies me, after all the shit I've put my parents through.  But I just can't feel like my life has been worth while without kids.  I absolutely love them, and I'm really looking forward to them.

I'd still go to culinary school, and then try out veterinary nursing.

Whatever's left over would go to various charities.

Quote:

That's the best part IMO, but I'm probably saying that because I don't really do enough drugs to keep me satisfied at this point in my life. :xtc:

I think I'd be able to control myself fine, I've never really felt  super-addicted to any drug. :xtc:

I really don't think I have the ability to control myself.  I mean I don't even go through withdrawals when I run out of drugs, but I always binge when I have them.  I already shoot vodka to start every day, and have 4-6 more before I got to sleep again.  I don't know, I'm weak willed I guess.

I wonder if there would be a way to have someone else manage my finances so I don't have the ability to lose control.

If it happened tonight, would easily quit smoking cigs, not drink as much and spend my time truly enjoying life stress free. I am sure I would smoke more pot though.

Probably own a huge ranch in the middle of no where and do lots of traveling when I have the time.

Pretty much be self sufficient when it comes to food.

My close family and friends would be set.

Camping, hah... pic a path on the land and see where it leads. Gotta be backed up next to some blm or forest land.

So really not be to much different than I like to live now. Definitely not going on a drug binge party mode way of life. Granted I would probably have a big stash of LSD, so that would be a change.

Nah the only things I do now is drink to much, smoke pot and some psy's. I have already had many years in my past where I had my other binges.

Well, maybe a trip with the guys to Vegas. Blow a few grand and get drunk and shit. Live like a high roller for a weekend.

I am to old for that shit, hangovers are a bitch.

All that would do is desensitize them to it.  Lows make the highs so much better.  I guess there's no real answer, but in my experience, people who grew up wealthy are completely arrogant self important douches.  Of course that's a huge generalization, and I'm sure there are exceptions.  But that's my experience.

Plus, if they never have to work for anything their whole lives, they're going to completely lose it when they enter the real world.  The money may be enough for me for the rest of my life, but you didn't say it's enough for my kids to live off for their lives as well.

I would probly buy an island and grow weed on it and other things. Maybe open a business in thc beverages and beer. Or maybe even build some sort of educational non-profit centers for poor kids around cities in frisco or maybe seattle. A town i enjoy to be in and give back to. Shit probly alot more but it would take alot of time to calculate before i spent a dam cent.
