    #14169580 - 03/23/11 11:58 AM (12 years, 11 months ago)

Between Datura, Belladonna, Brugmansia, and Mandrake, what do you feel is the safest Tropane containing plant?
Safest Tropane Plant
You may choose only one

That poll has potential to give fucktards the very dangerous message that one of those plants is "safe".

They all contain atropine and other tropane alkaloids so they are all dangerous. Some may have higher or lower concentrations and may have greater or lesser variability in their tropane alkaloid content. At the end of the day you wont know the strength of a particular plant or even a certain part of that plant until you take some, and then its too late. All of those plants are as hazardous as each other for recreational use.

I don't want to sound like im skalding you man, its just those plants aren't for eating :pipesmoke:

None of the above.

Erythroxylum coca or Erythroxylum novogranatense

Cocaine is a tropane alkaloid too!

LOL! good assessment.

but since when did teenyboppers go for safe?
safe = weak
probs they'll go for the most dangerous one,
"i can take that shit"
so they can brag that they've done "that shit", i.e. give em some street cred

they are hardcore,
the wanna get as "fucked up" as possible
on the floor
brain-bleeding type shit man

lol

to OP; none of those plants is at all "safe", i agree with above

I only have first hand experience with brugmansia and mandrake. The safest would be the one with the least variation in alkaloid concentration, I'm not sure there's sufficient research to suggest which that is.

Whichever has the highest concentration of scopolamine relative to atropine and hyoscyamine would be preferable as it more readily crosses the blood-brain barrier so a lower dose can be taken.

Belladonna's the most potent I think which makes it more dangerous, but also seems to be most studied and cultivated in the past though probably not selectively bred enough to give stable alkaloid content more so than the others.

of course i wouldn't recommend anyone take any of them as they are dangerous and quite unpleasant in my experience

I'd say cocaine has the least chance of killing people dumb enough to abuse tropane's.
AND thats saying something.

Datura CAN be very safe if used responsibly, if not it can be deadly. Just like anything, educate yourself BEFORE you even think of attempting anything. As stated above.... it can be a deadly mistake if not taken properly. The leaves and flowers aren't consistent so satay away from them, period.

In my experience and research Datura seeds are the most consistent and reliable source.

When I can't sleep I chew up 3 - 4 Datura Inoxia seeds. It'll make you sleep like a baby with VERY VIVID dreams. If you are interested in exploring Lucid Dreaming this is my guide of choice.

Datura Stramonium is great to potentiate Cactus, LSA, DMT, Mushie, (or so I've heard... speaking from only info I've read of course) For this you would want 4-5 seeds chewed.
