Spawning dung

Is there any reason why you couldnt spawn dung with colonised dung?

if so you could do this indefintely couldnt you? as long as the mycellium is alive it would surely just keep colonising

would you be able to do this with a spent casing? or does the mycellium die?

I spawned my first lot of straw & horse poop 2 days ago & its already got really aggresive rizomorphic growth. The way things are shaping up it looks like me & the dung will get on well together

wish me luck!

About a week ago a friend of mine had the same question, about the spent casing- actually his casing ended up to dry- anyways, he removed much of the dried up casin layer and mixed up the rye on the bottom- he then rehydrated it w/ H2O2(the same he uses to mist with) Then he set it in the incubator for 24 hours- then another 24- totaling, yes, you guessed it, 48 hours. once he removed the uncased casing from the incubator the mycelial growth had resumed at a provocative rate. He took this and spawned some poo. Yesterday he removed the poo from the dark room fully colonized and believes that he will see some results fairly soon, hopefully that is. Hope this helps
