terrible accident - will my tray be alright?
    #1416812 - 03/29/03 12:00 PM (21 years, 2 months ago)

last night i was getting ready to get into bed, and i put my tray on a chair for a minute. something happened where i bumped into the chair. The chair rocks a little bit, and this caused the tray to slide off and fall on the ground. luckily, it didnt tip over. it just hit the corner and then landed right-side up. however, all the beautiful mycellium got covered with potting, and on the far corner some of the substrate beneath the layer became exposed. well, this morning it seems to be recovering ok, but there are still a couple chunks of solid mycellium that hAd surfaced. should i pot some sterilized potting soil over these pieces, or just let them remain the way they are? also, the tray should be alright, right? it seems to have done fairly well over night so im assuming it should remain that way.

kramer has never(to our astonishment) dropped a tray(we are both sure it will happen eventually).
don't mess with it any more than you have to

thanks for the input. there's also one other thing im unsure of what to do. since i was in the process of initiating pinning, should i continue with that or, since a lot of mycellium got covered by the casing layer, should i put it back in the dArk and give it a day or two for the tray to look how it was before my clumsiness?
