You know what I think? Money is just paper. Something like 95 percent of all money is digital, and many years ago the law was changed that money could not be exchanged for gold. Its not real, Iceland, Greece, their economies have crumbled. The World Banks fuck over so many countries by lending them absurd amounts of cash with insane interest rates. That country, United Emirates or whatever that has all these crazy buildings, that will crumble in the near future. And of course, the US is at the centre of it. If their citizens wake up from their daily diet of television, pharmaceuticals, facebook, twitter, all that horseshit, I am convinced that we will see anarchy in the USA. Just my opinion, of course.
I am a Voodoo Child.

@Austrip - Do you not have any time at all, or not notice PMs, while making long posts in this thread, or do you just straight out ignore PMs based on your judgement of myself?
Not trying to be rude, simply curiuos.

I don't judge anyone based on anything, I come on here in between my spare time IRL. I'll write back to your PM dude, just sometimes I'm only on here quickly to post, and sometimes I don't sign on for a few days.

that myc is ready to be cut/torn into chunks and put in woodchips IMO, you might lose it if you wait to long, I've noticed myc only goes so far on cardboard before it starts to die, rot, or contam. Put a layer of bark/woodchips in a pot/or your patch, put your cardboard chunks on top of that, sandwich it with another decent layer of bark/woodchips.

Seeing as it was brought up, i have the same issue, I messaged you back right at the start of the season, and still haven't gotten a reply, only once i started posting big hauls did it warrant a response in the threads :S
Big hunt last night got probably a thousand or so, really getting tired of this weather though gonna put 150 grams of dried powdered shrooms in some honey soon and let it sit then i reckon that'll be the end of the season for us Soooo many mushrooms :P

Since it's an issue with you guys, I was fairly sure I replied to you smokeandtoke, going to check my inbox now. Wondered why I hadn't heard back from you this season anyway. and just so you know my replies have got nothing to do with your finds, dunno why you have that idea. Anyway, most of the time I just come here and post a comment on the pics and go back to life, sometimes I'm busy or I forget about PMs when I'm in a rush. It's not an insult or anything.
Your calling it a season already? its just getting into the real good part of the year now lol.

All good man I have stacks of trouble with my PM's as it is.
But yeah I'm considering calling it, got so many different activities on that i just don't have time for walking around in the forest, plus my phone is knackered so i can't meet up with people lol
Here's some photos from last weeks hunt, didn't take many photos due to time but got a decent haul

Bit of work for public (shroom) enemy number 1 hahah

Those nice yellow subs are from my homemade patch, it's so good, it's a pity i'm moving house so soon, my neighbours are definitely going to enjoy my garden next winter hahaahah
@Lordofthegnomes- A whilst ago you were raging about a patch being destroyed was this is, the one by the creek?

Making a few spore prints

Absoloutely amazing cacti species on one of my walks, would have loved a cutting or two off of it, just left it in all it's prickly beauty though

Pinning A. muscaria

Peace y'all

@ Smokeandtoke, speaking of not replying haha can you please answer my question about what's in your home patch? You said manure, fertiliser and compost. Is it just that or woodchips too? Also how long did you put the myc and spore water on/in it before it started fruiting?

lol sorry bruss, i'm having problems with keeping up to the pages and pages of posts, I do have chips down it's a combo of Euc and Pine but the pine was much older, I had my original patch split into 4 quarters, each quarter differing slightly from the other ie; pine chips no manure more shade, then next patch was different base soil, manure, pure euc chips and half sun etc etc etc. The sporewater & mycelium mixture was probably on there for maybe a fortnight or more, I kinda forgot about it for ages (too busy eating them lol). that's when i noticed pins at a decent size, from there on it just grew rapidly & they really didn't seem to have no differences.
In the end all the different combinations worked really well i was quite surprised that it even popped up this year i think it was a combination of everything that ensured growth all round.

Yeah man...that sucks hard... I don't understand that spot because it's completely ravaged, there is a huge amount of native flora in there that has been destroyed and even the structure of the hill has been altered in certain spots.
I seriously doubt this was the council, I know a couple of the guys that work in this area and they definitely wouldn't have been involved in this, you'd lose your job over it! I have a feeling it's the property owners on the right, I'd go knock on there door but I'm not game lol sad stuff

@ Smokeandtoke. Only a fortnight? Holy shit that's quick. Most people say their home patches take at least a year to consolidate and start producing. I'll be moving to a different house next year so i can't make a full outdoor patch but i'm going to make a fair few large pots worth of mulch and maybe some manure considering your success. I'm going to sandwich my myc cardboard between some mulch layers sometime this week and hopefully it'll treat me well next season. Cheers for the info.

nice work @Smokeandtoke @LOTG everywhere is going off! went literally 20m down the road from my mates house and found these:

These ones we banged straight into a nice shady woody spot in his backyard:

There was about 50 down there that we saw from a 5 min walk left them going to go harvest soon, happy days!!
