Hey guys,
I Bin lazy: it's Wednesday and I haven't posted all week or on the weekend. Went hunting with a friend Saturday, it was awesome to see that the particular patches we visited were doing so well. I reckon we were the first happy hunters to go through those spots this year
Some pics:

@Ibrahimovic: What do ya reckon? maybe stem not as thick as a couple of the ones you found but this monster is definitely comparable the giants you posted (nice find by the way ).
Also, I keep harping on about it: Galarenas (sp?). Be careful, inspect every specimen, often found growing close to subs.... etc etc etc...
In the first photo we see part of a patch of galarenas growing amongst subs. In the 2nd photo: Sub on the left side of the image, galarena on the right (picked from same patch as 1st photo).
Last: check this out, muscaria decorated by my friend. Look closely, the fairy is holding a pin .

Yeah buddy iPhone, this is my 3rd due to faulty hardware lol, but its working fine now and iPhones are pretty shit unless you Jailbreak them, if you don't may as well get a android... or Nokia 3210
Yeah i think buses would go out that way, not sure if metro buses would though. See a fair few bike riders though if your up for a hell epic workout

Money at the markets? Interesting... I know there is the mushroom man shop but yeah I wonder how they collect wild mushrooms? Someone would surely; if anyone knows about how commercial wild mushroom cultivation works post it up.

I know you can buy mushroom growing kits from hardware stores, pretty sure you get syringes or prints of edibles with the kits might be worth looking into me thinks.

Does anyone have much luck finding Copelandia Cyanescens, Gymnopilus Junonius and Gymnomilus Purpuratus around S.A? Mate got told that those 3 and subs will be the main ones we'll find, I though subs were the only ones to look for.

I'm pretty sure copelandia cyanescens, or copes in slang, grow predominantly in warmer, more northern regions of our great brown (and Green) land. I'm fairly positive I found copes earlier on the year in Victoria in the lowland valleys South of mt buller, in a cow Paddock. There were hundreds of them, they were very similar to subs in size and shape but were white and they tend not to flatten cap in maturity but stay bell shaped like young subs. Bruised very blue. I consumed two mediums only and had a very powerful trip. Go copes.

Cheers guys, figured subs would be the way to go. Been reading heaps of different suggestions on dosage, when dried what would the ideal weight be? 1gm seems to be whats said mostly, but that doesn't sound like much at all.

well 1g dried is recomended for first timers however we are all different and react different to the effects of psilocybin/psilocin so all i can say is start off slow in a comftorble setting and let it ride lol and then work from there went out today will upload pics after ive cooked dinner

@jonstoned - is there any sort of phone that uses the android OS but doesn't have one of those infuriating touchscreens?
Terrence Mckenna (sp) says five dried grams is a 'heroic dose' I think

@jordman, pretty sure you can get some with a back keyboard that spins out, would be heaps handy. @LOTG 1gram it is if it's anything like LSD or DMT or anywhere in-between i should be pretty cruisy Going to do a tea first, then hit up a lemon tek after a few trips Sweet as cant wait to see the pics! We got 180 in the dehydrator and the rest are getting printed they looked pretty win but just making sure.

5g cubes is what terrance says you need to see elves and pixies and crazy shit.
That would only be 3g subs.
I'd rate 10g cubes or 5g subs as a heroic dose.
Went out today with some friends, came back with 2kg subs, 2kg milky caps. An ok haul but last years was still better... although I could still only access half my spots due to loggers.
I took a few pics, will upload them tomorrow i reckon... so goddamn tired. btw
ANYONE SEE THAT FUCKING BLOOD RED LUNAR ECLIPSE? ZOMG, AND THE MOON IS SO AWESOME RISING TODAY. The volcanic haze makes an extremely pleasing effect, I swear it the sunset lasted for about an hour today... mmmm these are some pretty special times.
