haha i stil got a bit of deemsters lying around but its all mine lol would love to hook u up smokeandtoke if only i could still hook it up, it dont come round very often lol and no offence but if your only taking 1gram of psilocybin i dont think DMT would b for you as they dont nearly compare and also the acacia your after is acacia madenii however it doesnt grow here have to head further out for that but there are other natural sources that grow here in sa

That's cool, but just cause i'm taking low doses of 1g, it's no indication on how i'll handle an experience on DMT, it's barely into the season why go taking huge dosages when there's so much magic to discover...besides.....i've got a decent stash hidden away from my pickings haha plenty of out of body experiences in the future :P :rocket:

Back from an epic night shrooming session. loving my new torch. my first big haul of the season, looks like about 200 shrroms. only strange this is my spot that was fruiting had nothing, and my other spots we blooming like crazy. I think maybe someone else might be picking the same spot as me, and best of luck to them if they are, its an awesome place. as usual heres a selection of my favorites.

All the talk of dmt as well has sparked my interest. My poor little viridis grows painfully slow here in sa, but i think im keeping her happy. if theres one thing i love more than shrooms, its a visit to hyperspace.

Peace all. may the mushroom gods smile upon you.

Actually subs take about 2 weeks to develop... from pins to wavy rotting caps. :P

The colder it is the longer it takes a mushroom to develop.

of course they grow at night, their growing up til the point when they are harvested or start rotting and also hunting in the morning is a  old wives tale sick of everyone saying that and the sun does not kill them in a day its constant exposure over a period of time and there is no "perfect time" to go hunting only to go out after rain of course you can go at night its just easier during the day unles its a real open public area or someones front garden lol BTW next time call them subs not "shroomies" keep the slang for somewhere else please

Relax man it really doesn't matter what he calls them does it?

It's not like every single time on this thread they are referred to as their proper botanical name.

I think it's P. subaeruginosa or it's nothing

Yeah I had a great time! Didn't expect to see so many subs in big groups as we did. That harvest will feed us well for a while haha.

Saw plenty of pins for next time too!

Cheers for showing me the ways of the subs!

Just got back from a little walk... I'm pretty sure I wasn't looking in the right places and/or am not identifying subs correctly. I found a few tiny little things (I didn't pick them, just looked) that had caps that looked kinda like subs but their stipes were brown and very thin (they looked quite brittle too). They were found in bracken around a little creek which is what got my hopes up.

Found a another 2 species, I might post an ID request a bit later if I can find a camera or the cable for my phone... They're pretty evidently not active, though.

Looks like I may have to find a local to take me out around the hills for a bit of a "What you need to know, newb" walk.

hey guys was wondering if anyone was free for a hunt tomorrow? i know there hasnt been much rain, but more interested in getting me bearings in other spots of adelaide.

ive been looking for the past couple of yrs and have only been lucky enough to find like 10 subs at a time, some of the finds others out there pull in are amazing. a few of my spots i did find have been destroyed by people just ripping up pins all the time, very annoying. i have a vehicle, and am keen to be shown around some spots i obviously have not ventured to as of yet.  pm me if interested.  happy hunting.

peace

Hi Guy's and Doll's, Here is a nice early morning photo. A little too much light on the cap but Im still new to Mycology photography, especially in the dark. Found this and quite a few more this morning at about 5.30am. It was beautiful other than the beer and water bottles I found along the way. However I felt mother nature and I were doing each other a solid, I took out the rubbish and she blessed with with gifts.
Enjoy the morning sunshine.
