Hey guys, went for a hunt with a mate on saturday morning to a south-eastern spot we recently discovered. Didnt stay very long but we still managed a decent haul of about 50 subs . We left plenty of pins for next time. Looks like the season is really kickin in now, can't wait for the uni holidays to start then ill be able to devote more time to huntin.

Heres a few pics

A pretty pair of pins

Btw, in the second picture there are two subs but they look totally different... can anybody pls explain to me whats with that? Is it just because ones older than the other? or are they different strains of sub?

There will be countless variations across the same species to a certain degree.

The left sub is nice and fresh, probably hasn't broken it's veil yet, the right sub is older and has been slightly damaged by water and just the general wear and tears of existance. Both cap and stipe will darken as they age and they are exposed to sunlight.

yea mr.f is right, you'll find variations all over the joint i always find subs that grow in pine are different to those found with eucs and so fourth. It all depends of which substrate you find em in

I'd reccomend doing an extremely light dose.

If you drink a cup of that... expect some mild paralysis. I've heard plenty of high dose sub reports that feature limb paraylsis and possible seizures. If I can give any advice... don't fight it you'll only make it worse.

20 subs should be enough really any more than that and you begin to reach a ceiling, it's just that the ceiling is easier to get to the more you take.

^This.  You'll end up going on a very unenjoyable ride I would imagine both physically and mentally.  As Mr. F stated also temporary paralysis is quite common on such stupidly large doses, and often your only clear thought inbetween waves will be that you have poisoned yourself, which can be a difficult idea to overcome when you are tripping that hard.  Not even going to go into the millions of ways you'll start introspectively tearing yourself to bits at the end of it all.

So one cup is 225 Psilocybe subaeruginosas?

Still a massive overdose.

A good dose is more like 20.

Had a field day about 3 days ago, it was mad fun, though i was sleep deprived. Set out to find some suburban subs locations around the outskirts of town, alas, to no avail. However i did see plenty of areas where they potentially could be propagated to flourish.

Coprinus sp. I'd imagine.

Stropharia aurantiaca

Psathyrella sp?

Agaricus sp?

Armillaria sp?

Volvariella speciosa

Duracell Copper Tops

copper tops are subs chasetrance. please dont confuse them with gold tops(psilocybe cubensis) and "bluemeanies" are panaeolus cyanescens aka copelandia cyanescens. although locally i think people refer to subs as "gold tops" and "bluemeanies" but they dont grow here in sa

Lol i've been having tea with no more than 1.4 grams of dried powder, and i'm completely set, i even have a slight tolerance, and it's plenty.

If i've was wanting a really intense experience like a level 5 trip i'd still only be weighing up maybe 5-6 grams if that.

Not to say you don't know what you're doing but eating hundreds of shrooms is literally a waste of fungi :P

I just can't understand how you can take an ammount that is so large and yet sit there and watch cartoons? I literally morph into different dimensions off of small dosages :P

I really get the feeling you are messing up the tea somehow. Either that or you are near on immune to the effects of Psilocybin/Psilocyn, I mean no offense by this, it just sounds so far out of whack in terms of quantity.

I don't really bother with tea general so I can't really guestimate what could be up with it being so weak for you.

So how do you lot measure the dosage so accurate? Surely you don't all have scales that measure in increments of 0.1 grams?

I just want to know how it's done because this weekend I'll be having only my 2nd trip. The first time my mate worked out the quantity for me.
