Another casing question

Does increaing the number off cakes per caes, does that increase the weight of the flush, or just how quickly it grows?

Depends the size of your casing...bigger case = bigger flush

What if I had an 8' by 4" case. How many 1/2 pint cakes should I use?

Use as many cakes as you want. Make the substrate layer between 2-3 inches (More if you have enough cakes). You'll want to add about a 3/4" of casing material on top of that.

Oh and yes, more cakes = larger yeilds.

When you are spawning grain into a bulk substrate...then THATS when you get faster colonization rather than difference in yeilds.
