good evening,
i am planning and preparing something. i will be PCing some large PFtek style blocks really soon. 2:1:1 with gypsum and coffee ground suppliments
i will be using 42oz (2.65 pint) pp5 gladware containers, with silicone self healing innoc points and tyvek filtered GE hole. i got a painters suit made from dupont tyvek.i intend to replace the tyvek every time i PC the lids.
i was going to layer the lids GE fitler as i have seen it many teks on here
MP tape:tyvek:Lid:tyvek:MP tape
would a dry vermiculite layer be neccesary with the filtered lids?
thanks
-------------------- I am looking for any shiitake strains, any oyster strains, and lions mane cultures. i got cool edibles to trade. "Mycologists on the other hand grow for the love of growing. They want to experiment with various species, substrates, and fruiting environments. They'll move on to isolate strains, attempt hybridization, and in general treat cultivation as an artform, rather than a chore that must be performed as a means to an end. They'll work twice as hard for a ten percent gain, just for the love of perfection..." Roger Rabbit

Not as a filter, but I like a thin layer of dry verm on top and bottom.
