They really should have learned to play one song well than try and do a medley.

No, it leaves classical music. Because in those days, rednecks and colored people simply didn't exist.

That's a pretty wide statement.

It's not my fault that I don't have uncontrollable, violent anger issues, and that I can't relate to music which is based on such issues.
Oh wait, yes it is...

Hilarious Poid.
I'm probably much calmer because I listen to metal sometimes, it's an outlet.
Metal isn't always about anger either. It's such a broad spectrum of genres.

Would calming music not calm you down?

Do I really need to answer that?
I meant I'm calmer in daily life because I release my anger by listening to metal and not by going to the bar and beating some innocent dude up.

what makes metal metal? is it the tones or the vocals? there are metal bands with lyrics that have nothing to do with anger at all. aggressive and angry are all subjective, just like everything else.(contrary to popular belief)

Good for you, I'm just glad I don't have to listen to such excruciatingly unappealing noises in order to prevent me from beating the shit out of a toddler for her lollipop.

It's because you were quoting me, I got confused.
Anyways, fuck discussing anything with Poid, if his sensitive ears can't handle instruments with distortion, I don't give a shit. Tough luck.

I listen to some forms of rock, and even some Metallica--I can play "Master of Puppets" on the guitar.
Metal, however, makes me feel like I constantly need to hock a loogie. Every time.
There is no talent in screaming at the top of your lungs, and doing so is not music IMO.
No need to get mad at me.

Obvious troll is so obvious.
Having said that, I think there's much talent in Mikael Akerfeldt's screaming. Much more than in my own, in any case.

I got mad because metal is such a broad genre that it's obvious that you don't know what you're talking about so discussing anything about the topic with you is futile.
