First post.... need help identifying whether this white fluffy stuff is mold or not

Doing my first grow and transplanted the cakes into my humidity chamber about a week ago. First ones popped up last night
That said, long before it popped up, I saw this white fluffy stuff growing scattered around my two trays. My brothers (who have done this before) warned me to watch closely for anything green, but weren't sure what to say when I said I had some white stuff popping up.
I'm not sure if its mycellia or mold/mildew. From other gardening I know mold can sometimes look similar, but then again the colonized cakes did too.
Anyway, tried to get some pictures, hopefully they help. I appreciate any help you can give.

Looks like mycelium poking through the surface. I may be wrong, mycelium texture can vary from strains and from cubes. Just keep an eye on it. If its cobwed it will grow fast and will look very fluffy within 2 to 4 days.

cool, thanks. i was worried it was mold so i wasn't spraying as much, so I'll try spraying some more and hopefully it helps.
I did a 'dunk' (my brother's advice, sicne he also thought it was dry) a few days ago... well, sorta. Since i didn't have a vessel big enough to sink it in, I poured some water (boiled it before hand) down the sides of the trays to simulate a dunk.
I added some vermiculte on top to protect what was there. Should I do that again? Is there a better way?
