Nice score
I have a family member in the turf/seed industry (golf courses, sports fields, farms, etc). Until recently (when the local warehouse closed) I was able to get an almost limitless supply of RGS for free.
Now I use his farming contacts and buy direct, off farmer. Got 50lbs of millet for $14, rye isn't in season here yet though.

That shit was heavy, I'm exhausted and I haven't even gotten it into the basement yet. I love doing business with farmers where they're like "yeah, grab that and then come pay me where I'm at" which was right down the street. I've always loved having people trust me with relatively important issues because well...I'm a trustworthy guy and it's good to show people that those kind of people are still out there.
The Mexican guy that helped me load it was like "don't forget you need to go to the store to pay for it because he's at the store right now" AT LEAST 3-4 times lol.

Ajax - this is your answer. Buy direct from farmers. He sold it to me cheap because it's been sitting there since fall and he just wants to get rid of it. It was his last 500 lbs and he apparently harvests 100-200 tons a year.
He says he'll be ready in July which surprised me cause another guy said he wouldn't be ready until October. Either way I told him I want to purchase a ton come July for around 350 or so; he said he'll see what he can do but I might wind up paying closer to $500 due to market values (he apparently sells for around $12/50lbs right after harvest)
