pinning/ maturing problem(Update: midget mushrooms!? pics)

The story so far: crumbled 2 quarts of rye and cased with vermiculite. no pinning first week. Dunked for 30 min. Had a couple pins 2 days later, pins stalled. It's been like 5 days since pins stalled. I think it's dehydrated in my fruiting chamber dispite the fact that there is around 4.5 inches of wet perlite. I live in an environment where the RH is less than 10% usually. temp has been around 70. I mist and fan multiple times a day.

What should I do?
Thanks for your help.

those pins look fine, stalling can only be determined if the pins start to rot/blue/blacken ime slow growing pins are the largest of the bunch.
edit: Slow growing*

Easier to spot when the casing layer doesn't obscure their colors aswell

I don't know man..... I've never see pins stall for 5 days then start growing again, and no new pins are forming.
Anyone else?...

Is the container heavy? My first bulk sub I misted too much. It was heavy as shit so I knew there was a ton of water in it, I cut back on watering to let it dry a little and boom I had a crazy pinset....You can try cutting the misting down to one light one a day. You actualy want the sub to start to dry out a little bit which is a huge pinning trigger....You still want to supply some water to the surface but at the same time you want the sub as a whole to start to dry out a little....

It dried out at first, sub shrunk by a couple inches, and parts of the mycelium turned blue(it smells fine so it's not a contam) I still think it might be that it's too dry, but I am not sure.

kind of, not really. I poured some sterile water into it's tray then poured out the excess a half an hour later. and I did this a week into fruiting.

it grew three, 1 inch long mushrooms! lol yeah I'll redunk. cakes are usually dunked for 24 hours though, so why would you dunk a tub for only 6?

These are the actions I have taken
-Added holes to the bottom of FC and elevated it -Added an extra 1 1/2 inches of perlite -currently dunking substrate for around 20 hours
Hope this helps
seems like I've always needed to have way extra perlite in my fruiting chambers, cause once again my RH where I live is < 10% most of the time.
Oh and I picked those few pins off of the tray, caps were turning black when I looked up close.
I will update what happens in a week.

don't dunk the sub for 20 hours....6-8 hours is good. Cakes are dunked for 24 hours, not bulk

Midget mushrooms, wtf? Caps are open, they're not gonna grow much more. That big one is about an inch, and there are some way smaller than that with open caps.
Anyone know what causes this?

can't see the whole tub from the pics but i would guess fae is the problem. short fat caps usually signals a lack of fresh air if i'm not mistaken. more fanning or air exchange should extend the next flush before they break veils.
