Almost. Now you're saying. Don't be shy. Were (to be, the past) all (as in all the people) friends here. I think you're fantastic
It's Wees niet verlegen. We zijn allemaal vrienden hier (we're all friends here) . Ik denk dat je fantastisch bent!
Dus goed geprobeerd maar nog niet helemaal juist maar ik versta wel wat je bedoelt

It's just the misunderstanding of the language barrier. He can't express himself thoroughly but I don't think he's claiming that THC is the all-to-be, everything curing fix but more that THC helped him (both physically) and mentally throughout the years.
And sorry, you should've become mad at me because it's just now that I see the plain prejudice from my side and I hate such things myself.
So excuse me and welcome to the forums
edit: and yes I am aware that he's literally saying that THC cured his liver, quite the bold statement but still

As stated a few times in this thread....

...is your livers best friend.
I actually don't worry much about my liver. I only drink a few times a week, and when I do it's just a couple beers. Other than that there's nothing I really consume often that's harsh on the liver. On the very rare occasion (a couple times a year) I will consume some DXM, and every once in a while a relatively high dose of acetaminophen (1500mg, from vicoden)...
And I do take milk thistle + extract daily, just as one of my daily herbs.

THC has been shown in studies to be correlated with significantly reduced brain damage in alcoholics who smoked it regularly.
Of course, it's hard to say what this means - it could show that THC has neuroprotective and neuroregenerative effects countering the neurotoxicity of alcohol, or it could show that weed is used as a substitute for booze by alcoholics thus reducing the amount of booze consumed.
Given that THC has been shown in many other studies to have neuroprotective and neuroregenerative effects though, I wouldn't say it's a far-out idea.
I don't know about its effect on the liver though. I don't get the impression it affects the liver at all, either negatively or positively. If you want that then go with milk thistle, it actually is proven to protect and restore the liver. I always pop it after long nights.

And aw, thanks, guys. I'm actually looking into learning Dutch because I'd like to have a chill-ass country to flee to when things in America get intolerable, shit is really going downhill at the moment. I'm also going to be visiting next month. I can't wait!

Not to go too far off topic here, but regarding the neuro-protective properties of cannabis when it comes to MDMA >>>
Cannabinoid-MDMA interactions were examined in male Wistar rats. MDMA ( [Formula: see text] mg/kg or [Formula: see text] mg/kg over 4 h on each of 2 days) was administered with or without Delta(9)-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) ( [Formula: see text] mg/kg), the synthetic cannabinoid receptor agonist CP 55,940 ( [Formula: see text] or 0.2 mg/kg) or the cannabinoid receptor antagonist SR 141716 ( [Formula: see text] mg/kg). Co-administered Delta(9)-THC and CP 55,940 but not SR 141716 prevented MDMA-induced hyperthermia, causing a powerful hypothermia. Co-administered Delta(9)-THC, CP 55,940 and SR 141716 all tended to decrease MDMA-induced hyperactivity. Co-administered Delta(9)-THC provided protection against the long-term increases in anxiety seen in the emergence test, but not the social interaction test, 6 weeks after MDMA treatment. Co-administered Delta(9)-THC and CP 55,940, but not SR 141716, partly prevented the long-term 5-HT and 5-HIAA depletion caused by MDMA in various brain regions. SR 141716 administered with CP 55,940 and MDMA prevented the hypothermic response to the CP 55,940/MDMA combination but did not alter the CP 55,940 attenuation of MDMA-induced 5-HT depletion. These results suggest a partial protective effect of co-administered cannabinoid receptor agonists on MDMA-induced 5-HT depletion and long-term anxiety. http://www.mdma.net/cannabis/antihyperthermia.html
Sorry, now that I think about it that wasn't really related at all, but still thought I would share

I had a fucking awful ecstasy hangover a while ago, and I noticed that weed brought the anxiety down significantly. It's weird, because I don't normally consider weed to exactly be my anxiolytic of choice (that's alcohol, which was powerless in that situation, for once). Interesting stuff.
Remember, kids - smoke weed every day. ESPECIALLY if you're abusing other drugs.

MDMA fucks with ADH levels and alcohol does as well, but they counteract eachother REALLY fucking with your body's equilibrium.

Echoes blew my mind. my friend and I put that song on while driving through the Smoky mountains. Fog was still clinging to the hollows and when that segment of the song came on where they basically transport you into a "ghost space" we both just looked around silently feeling as if the scenery perfectly matched the ghost world Pink Floyd had just created.

I keep it on the ganja and time to time shrooms, both are free to grow.
